SALT LAKE CITY — Her time on “America’s Got Talent” is over, but Kenadi Dodds wants the world to know that this is “just the beginning.”

In an unusual season filled with production delays, COVID-19 restrictions and injury, the 15-year-old country singer from North Logan made it to the show’s top 10. Along the way, she made Simon Cowell smile, got criticized for performing original music and drew comparisons to a “young Taylor Swift.”

After her audition aired in June, Kenadi told the Deseret News that regardless of how far she went on “AGT,” she hoped the show would get her closer to her dream of being a country star — something she’s envisioned since 2015, when she saw Shania Twain from the front row at Vivint Arena.
