What about Kenadi Dodds?
This means that Kenadi Dodds, a 15-year-old country singer from Utah, will appear on next week’s semifinal round. Kenadi performed last week and was the first act from that episode to be pushed through to the semifinals.
In a recent interview with the Deseret News, Kenadi said she has grown close to many of the performers on “AGT,” and that it’s hard to see people get eliminated.
“Backstage we just grew so close to each other,” she said. “We would cheer each other on, and seeing anybody not make it or make it was so emotional for everyone. We love each other so much.”
Kenadi said she plans to “work extra hard” during the semifinal round.
“I just want to make you guys proud,” she said. “And I am so excited to show you what I have next.”
Where is Simon Cowell?
No one has filled in for Cowell the past couple of weeks. As of Tuesday afternoon, “AGT” has not announced a replacement for Cowell on tonight’s show.
“I miss Simon so much, and if Simon for some reason ever hears this interview, then come back, because it is not the same without you,” Kenadi told the Deseret News. “We need you, because you are like the rock, the foundation of ‘AGT.’”
