Lucasfilm launched a new series of digital shorts centered around characters from the new “Star Wars: The High Republic” era.

• The series — titled “Characters of Star Wars: The High Republic” — tells the stories of heroes and villains from the “High Republic” series, which takes place about 200 years before the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy.
• Each episode focuses on one character, showcasing their journey before the events of “The High Republic” novels and comic books.

“The High Republic” is a series of novels, graphic novels and comic books that take place 200 years before the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy.

• The series centers around a major incident that sends the galaxy into chaos, leading to a group of villains, called the Nihil, trying to take on the Jedi.
• The series also shows the Jedi Knights in their prime.
