Disney+ has released a new official trailer for the fantasy-adventure “Raya and the Last Dragon.”

The new film takes place in a world called Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together for years in peace. But the dragons eventually sacrificed themselves to save the human race from an evil threat. Now, the evil threat is back so the main character, Raya, seeks out a dragon to help bring people together.

The cast for the new animated film includes Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, Sandra Oh, Benedict Wong, Izaac Wang, Thalia Tran, Alan Tudyk, Lucille Soong, Patti Harrison and Ross Butler.

When will ‘Raya’ be released?

Raya and the Last Dragon” will premiere on Disney+ and movie theaters on the same day, Variety reported on Thursday.

Disney will make the animated film available on Premier Access, which is what happened with “Mulan” in September. This means only subscribers will be able to watch the film, after paying a $30 rental fee.
