“WandaVision” actor Paul Bettany said the ending of the show will cause fans to “look at the MCU in a whole new light.”

  • “I think they’re going to be massively surprised by the end of the show,” he said. “They’re going to look at the MCU in a whole new light, and also have a much deeper understanding of what direction it’s moving,” he told the “Lights, Camera, Pod” podcast.

More on the surprise actor

Bettany previously told Black Girl Nerds that a surprise actor will make an appearance on the show. He said the surprise actor is someone Bettany has wanted to work with for awhile, as I wrote about for the Deseret News.

“I get to work with an actor that’s going to be a surprise for everybody. ... I’ve been wanting to work with (this person) forever who is just unbelievable and we have some real fireworks together.”

“WandaVision” fans believe that Magneto — played by either Ian McKellen or Michael Fassbender, who played the character in the 21st Century Fox films — could show up in the show, according to ComicBook.com.
