“Star Wars” actress and singer Trisha Noble reportedly passed away after battling mesothelioma, according to multiple reports.

What happened?

Noble — who appeared in two “Star Wars” films — passed away from complications related to a tumor, which had been caused by inhaled asbestos fibers, per the Daily Mail.

Connection to ‘Star Wars’

  • Noble played Jobal Naberrie, the mother of Padme Amidala. She was seen in both 2002’s “Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones” and 2005’s “Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.”
  • However, as the New York Post notes, her scenes were cut from “Attack of the Clones” and featured on the DVD release.
  • In “Revenge of the Sith,” she is seen at the funeral for Padme, who dies in the film.

Per The New York Daily News, Noble starred on the ’80s action series “Strike Force.”
