“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Jennifer Shah’s ‘Shah Ski Chalet’ doesn’t actually belong to her, according to a new report.
Why was Jennifer Shah arrested?
Earlier this week, Shah was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The two charges can carry up to sentences of 30 years and 20 years in prison, respectively, according to the Deseret News.
- She was arrested on federal charges in New York.
Jennifer Shah doesn’t own ‘Shah Ski Chalet’
- The $3.9 million Salt Lake City home is a rental that belongs to Texas real estate rental company Univesco Inc. That company is under the limited liability company RJW Capital Investors, according to The New York Post.
- So, yes, it’s a rental. The New York Post said property records show Univesco Inc. has owned the home since 2014.
‘Ski Shah Chalet’ has its own profile
- “With exposed beams, a stone fireplace, and several dark, patterned rugs, the massive chalet has a cozy feel that is perfectly balanced with the lavish accent décor all around the home. While much of the house is decorated with a chic neutral color scheme, vibrant art pops against the white walls and wood furnishings,” according to Bravo.
