Oscar Isaac, ‘Moon Knight’ rumors
Rumors about Isaac’s involvement in a “Moon Knight” project began in October 2020 as he was said to be in talks to appear in a Disney+ series based around the superhero character.
The upcoming series — which was announced at the Disney expo D23 in 2019 — will follow the character of Marc Spector, who is an ex-mercenary who uses multiple identities to fight crime. He summons the powers of an Egyptian god to get his strength.
Isaac has a superhero background, as the Deseret News previously explained. He appeared as the villain Apocalypse in “X-Men: Apocalypse” — before Disney bought the rights to the X-Men franchise. He also recently starred as Resistance pilot Poe Dameron in the recent “Star Wars” sequel trilogy, so he’s no stranger to Disney.
