As fires continue to devastate the Los Angeles area, “Jeopardy!” has paused production to keep its crew, contestants and live audiences safe, Deadline reported.

The move comes as other game shows — including “Wheel of Fortune” and “The Price is Right” — have also halted filming.

Where does ‘Jeopardy!’ film?

Both “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” film at the Sony lot in Culver City, California, roughly 10 miles from Los Angeles, as the Deseret News previously reported.

“While there is no Fire Watch or Red Flag Warning for the Culver City area as of Tuesday afternoon, weather officials warn the Los Angeles area is still in an extremely long period of high fire danger and gusty winds,” reads a Jan. 14 statement on Culver City’s official website, noting that the Palisades Fire is 17% contained and the Eaton Fire is 35% contained.

When will ‘Jeopardy!’ resume filming?

“Jeopardy!” was originally scheduled to film between Wednesday and Friday of this week but is postponing those dates, per Deadline. While the show has yet to reschedule, as of now, the next filming window is Jan. 27-28, according to the “Jeopardy!website.

A slew of TV productions have halted production, including “Grey’s Anatomy,” “NCIS” and “Hacks,” per The Wrap.

New episodes of “Jeopardy!” Season 41 continue to air nightly. On Wednesdays, “Celebrity Jeopardy!” airs on ABC, and three episodes of “Pop Culture Jeopardy!” are released on Amazon Prime Video.
