For the fifth consecutive year, Trevor Noah will host the Grammys.
The 67th annual music awards show will also bring Noah back as a producer in addition to his role as emcee, reported Variety.
Ahead of last year’s show, Noah called the hosting gig “nerve-wracking” in an interview with CBS News.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen,” the comedian said. “So that’s what I love about the Grammys is it’s live; it’s happening; it’s on the fly.”
Noah told Variety last year, “the nerves” of hosting the Grammys never go away.
“I’m equal parts excited and nervous,” he told the outlet before hosting the 2024 show.
He continued, “I always wonder why I say yes to this thing, and then if it goes well — which it has, thankfully — I’m always grateful that I did. But the nerves never go away. There are only two things you can do: do it well, or completely mess it up. That’s not a great life to be living! I don’t know why I do this myself.”
When are the 2025 Grammys?
The 2025 Grammys are set for Sunday, Feb. 2 from 6pm-9:30pm MST at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Despite ongoing wildfires in LA County, the Recording Academy, which runs the Grammys, announced last week it will not reschedule the award show.
“This year’s show, however, will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours,” said Recording Academy and MusiCares Chief Executive Harvey Mason Jr. and Board of Trustees Chair Tammy Hurt, per the Los Angeles Times.
Mason and Hurt continued, “The Grammys will not only honor the artistry and achievements of our music community but also serve as a platform to amplify the spirit of resilience that defines this great city of Los Angeles.”
How to watch the Grammys
