The Grammy Awards garnered 62.6 billion social media impressions in 2024, according to Billboard. This achievement ranks the ceremony as the top social entertainment event of the year.

As the 2025 ceremony approaches, the question stands: Can the Grammys maintain their dominance in viewership?

Grammys viewership peaks since 2020

In 2023, the Grammy Awards saw a notable boost in viewership, averaging 12.4 million viewers, making it the most-watched ceremony since 2020, according to Variety.

The 2024 Grammy ceremony set a high mark with 16.9 million viewers, marking a 34% increase from the previous year.

After the dip following 2020, the Grammys appear to be rebounding. The New York Times reported that viewership was the highest it’s been in 2024, since 2020.

Additionally, Paramount+ experienced its most significant streaming surge, up 173% from previous years, according to Billboard.
