On Thursday, some of Hollywood’s biggest names will host a benefit concert at two Inglewood, California, venues to support those affected by the recent LA fires.
The event will be available for streaming, allowing people outside of Los Angeles to participate and contribute to the relief efforts.
Who is performing at FireAid?
FireAid will be hosted at two separate LA venues: the Kia Forum and the Intuit Dome.
At the Intuit Dome, the star-studded stage will be occupied by Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Tate McRae and Earth, Wind & Fire, according to The Associated Press.
At the Kia Forum, there will be performances from Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, Pink, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, the Black Crowes and John Mayer, per the AP.
The Kia Forum concert will start at 7 p.m. MST and the Intuit Dome performances will start at 8:30 p.m. MST, according to AP.
According to BBC, each artist will perform two to four songs.
“Organizers say performances will be staggered, and shown on large screens at both arenas so there’s no down time between acts,” the BBC reported.
Along with the musicians, FireAid will feature first responders and other special appearances by those impacted by the damaging fires, per the AP.
Where can you watch?
If you are unable to get tickets, or are not local to Los Angeles, FireAid can be streamed live on Apple Music, Apple TV+, Max, IHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, the Amazon Music Chanel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps and YouTube.
Those streaming FireAid can donate to the cause by text message or by visiting FireAidLA.org, reported BBC.
“Connie and Steve Ballmer — who own the LA Clippers basketball team, as well as the Intuit Dome and Forum — will match all donations made during the broadcast," per the BBC.
Proceeds and donations from the concert will go toward rebuilding the cities damaged by the fires and preventing future fires.
