How did fans react?
According to a post on X, from Discussing Film, announcing all the trailers that were shown during the game, there was quite a mix of feelings.
While some fans expressed their disappointment that the movies are just remakes and sequels, others wrote that they were excited for everything that was coming this year.
There wasn’t much said by fans about the trailers for “Novocaine,” “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” “F1,” “M3GAN 2.0” and “Smurfs.” But fans had a little bit more to say about the rest of them.
‘Thunderbolts*’
Surprisingly, “Thunderbolts” received a more positive reaction among fans. Some X users wrote that, after watching the new trailer, they were more excited to see the ragtag team of heroes than “Captain America: Brave New World” and “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.”
One fan, along with others, commented on X about Pugh and Stan’s looks in the trailer.
‘How To Train Your Dragon’
DreamWorks' first take on a live-action remake received a lot of mixed reviews after the new teaser.
When Discussing Film posted the new teaser on X, many fans were quick to expresses their excitement for the remake and their love for the original animated film.
However, some fans had stronger opinions. One X user wrote that the creators “should have gone with a book accurate version instead.”
Another user wrote on the post that he doesn’t “understand the appeal of a shot for shot remake.”
‘Lilo & Stitch’
The light hearted and fun teaser shown during the Super Bowl for “Lilo & Stitch” has many fans excited to see Stitch in live-action, according to the comments on one of Discussion Films X posts of the teaser.
But some users wrote that they hope that it will still “capture the heart of the original” film.
