The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards had a magical start as host — and original voice actor for Princess Anna in “Frozen” — Kristen Bell sang a parody of “Do You Want To Build a Snowman?” to begin the celebration.
In a video posted on the official SAG Awards X account, instead of asking to build a friend out of snow, Bell’s parody asks the question, “Do you want to be an actor?”
The song highlights moments from the beginning of various actors' careers, causing many laughs from the audience and making listeners wonder if they have what it takes to be an actor.
Among the examples are Jamie Lee Curtis screaming in “Halloween,” Selena Gomez as a child actor “hugging a purple dinosaur,” Timothée Chalamet as a “patient in ICU,” even Michelle Yeoh when she “learned how to fly,” and many more.
The song concluded with footage of a young Bell at the start of her career, followed by her present self asking, “Do I want to be an actor?” before confidently declaring, “Yes, I do.”
Fan reactions to this Frozen parody
Fans on X had nothing but praise and love for the “Frozen” voice actor’s performance.
One fan wrote, in response to the SAG Awards X post, that they loved this part and that “it was a beautiful and hilarious number for Kristen Bell.”
Another comment wrote that they didn’t think they could love Bell even more but this made them love her “10 times more.”
“Kristen is effortlessly funny,” wrote another fan on X. “She crushed it.”
There was even one user that cried during the performance, but with a laughing-crying emoji added at the end, it might be safe to say they were the good kind of tears.
More Kristen Bell moments at the 2025 SAG Awards
“Frozen” wasn’t the only shoutout given during the show; Bell had other moments that were references to her past work.
Here are three other moments from Bell at the 2025 SAG Awards show to remember.
Who’s the favorite co-star?
Bell’s co-stars from “The Good Place,” Ted Danson and William Jackson Harper, interrupted the show for something “important.”
What’s the buzz?
Posted by E! News on X, Bell channeled her best “Gossip Girl” voice as she shared the chatter given her by a hungry Leighton Meester — who played Blair Waldorf in the show.
Earlier this month, Netflix announced on X that Meester will be playing Bell’s middle school nemesis in the next season of “Nobody Wants This.”
The ‘signature move’
According to an Instagram post, Bell’s co-star from “Nobody Wants This,” Adam Brody, had a moment on stage to talk about his “signature move” from the show.
