Taylor Swift is breaking the internet again. She’s back with new music, and she was on the “New Heights” podcast to talk about it.

She announced her album “The Life of a Showgirl” will come out Oct. 3.

The podcast is the first televised interview Swift has done in years, and it’s on boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother’s podcast.

The trio teased the announcement Monday night with a clip from the podcast where Swift shares the name and aesthetic of the new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

Here’s what we know about the album so far.

Easter eggs from Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ pop-up in New York City

A Taylor Swift-sanctioned Spotify pop-up is being hosted in New York City this week leading up to the release of “The Life of a Showgirl.”

The pop-up features memorabilia from The Eras Tour, as well as some potential Easter eggs for the upcoming album.

Here are some of the Easter eggs eagle-eyed fans have noticed so far.

The first lyrics reveal shows the words, “Oftentimes it doesn’t feel so glamorous to be me.”

The back of a mirror says, “Keep it 100,” and fans noted that Swift’s boyfriend Kelce used that phrase this summer when he first hard launched their relationship by posting photos of him and Swift together in July, with the caption ending with, “Kept it 100.”

The orange “Karma” door that Swift walked through at the very end of The Eras Tour made an appearance at the pop-up.

What Taylor Swift said about ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ on the ‘New Heights’ podcast

During Swift’s podcast appearance, she explained more about what fans can expect from the new album.

“I wanted the album to feel the way my life felt, and this completely matches how my life has felt,” she said.

Based on what she said, the new album will likely contain catchy pop melodies and bops.

“I wanted it to have melodies that were so infectious that you’re almost angry at it, and lyrics that are just as vivid and crisp and completely intentional. I feel like we actually came together in a real way,” she said.

She confirmed that there will be 12 songs, and 12 songs only, on “The Life of a Showgirl” in order to keep the music true to her original intent.

“I wanted to do an album that was so focused on quality and have everything fitting together like a perfect puzzle that these 12 songs from my 12th album, I feel like we’ve achieved that. And I’m really happy about that,” she said.

Kelce also confirmed that fans could expect “12 bangers” and that “this album will make you want to get up and dance.”

Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ aesthetic

The new aesthetic features shimmery, glittery orange and green. Some fans speculated it could represent the color of copper when it’s new and it’s rusted, turning green.

She talked more about the new aesthetic and artwork and explained why the front cover of the album is a photo of her in a showgirl dress lying in a bathtub.

“My day ends in a bathtub, not usually in a bedazzled dress, but we try to keep it decent,” she said.

The album follows her life behind-the-scenes, and that’s what she said she wanted the album to look and feel like.

Sabrina Carpenter will have a collab on Taylor Swift’s new album

Fans speculated correctly that Sabrina Carpenter might be featured on the upcoming album, because Swift’s official fan page, Taylor Nation, included a photo of the two together on The Eras Tour in a social media post referencing the announcement.

Carpenter will be featured on the 12th track of the album, “The Life of a Showgirl (Feat. Sabrina Carpenter).”

Taylor Swift will be using former ‘1989,′ ‘reputation’ producers for the album

Swift announced during the podcast that she will be straying from the last few albums and using producers Max Martin and Shellback, instead of Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner.

Martin and Shellback helped produce her “1989,” “reputation” and “Red” albums.

Shortly after the original announcement about the album on Monday, billboards showed up in Times Square with a Spotify playlist linked to Swift’s account that included only songs produced by Max Martin and Shellback.

Easter eggs leading up to Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’

Fans are speculating that Swift has secretly been teasing this album and announcement date for years. Here are some of the Easter eggs fans have discovered leading up to the announcement.

The clock counting down the start of The Eras Tour was set to 2:24 for each show. Aug. 12 is the 224th day of the year, and the day Swift announced “The Life of a Showgirl.”

Swift wore all orange during the 12th show of the European leg of The Eras Tour, which could be another subtle hint at her 12th album being the color orange.

During her performance of the song “August” at The Eras Tour, the entire stage lit up in the color orange, which fans have speculated meant that her 12th album would be announced in August.

Eagle-eyed fans went back to Swift’s previous music videos, and some noticed similarities between the anti-hero Swift in her “Anti-Hero” music video. She’s wearing sparkly orange and green, just like the new album aesthetic.

Another fan pointed out that in her “Bejeweled” music video, which, like “Anti-Hero,” debuted during her “Midnights” era, she is dressed as a showgirl sitting on a clock in front of the number 12.

Another possible, subtle Easter egg is that the feathers in her “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” music video are orange, which might be a nod to the upcoming 12th album.

Lastly, some fans wondered if the album drop would be Oct. 3 (International Plaid Day), since Swift has been photographed in plaid a lot recently and has dropped albums on national days before.
