It’s official. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are now engaged to be married.

The music star and football star announced the engagement on Instagram Tuesday morning.

The five-photo carousel includes close-up images of the ring and the proposal with the couple surrounded by flowers.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption reads from the shared post.

The announcement comes on the heels of Swift announcing a new albumThe Life of a Showgirl” and in the lead-up to Kelce’s 13th season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The couple did not share when the wedding will be taking place.

In 2023, Kelce attended The Eras Tour in Kansas City in hopes of being able to meet Swift and give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.

He lamented the fact that he didn’t get to meet her on an episode of “New Heights,” the podcast he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce.

A couple months later, Swift shows up to a Chiefs game sitting in the box reserved for Kelce’s friends and family.

It was then revealed that the pair had been seeing each other for a couple of months.

Soon after that, the pair took the media world by storm.

This month, Swift was on “New Heights” to talk about football, her new music and they even gave fans a window into their relationship.

  • “He’s like the human exclamation point,” Swift said of Kelce.
  • “If I had never gone to that show and just been mesmerized, been captivated. Left with such a desire to meet you, I never would have went on here and told everybody how butthurt I was. I’ve never been so engulfed with the curiosity of who you were,” Kelce said of The Eras Tour.
