Could Taylor Swift perform the halftime show at the next Super Bowl?

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell would like that to be a reality.

“We would always love to have Taylor play. She is a special, special talent, and obviously she would be welcome at any time,” Goodell said on the “Today” show on Wednesday.

When pressed by Savannah Guthrie if it “is in the works,” he first said, “I can’t tell you anything about it.”

And he then added, “It’s a maybe.”

Ultimately, he said it will be up to Jay-Z and Roc Nation, which produce the halftime shows, to decide who will perform and that he would be leaving it up to them.

“I’m definitely a Swiftie,” he admitted.

During the show, Swift talked about her passion for baking sourdough bread and at one point said that she “is thinking about sourdough bread like 60% of the time now.”

Fans globbed onto the number, speculating that it means she could be performing in the halftime show at the Levi’s Stadium, since the 49ers mascot is Sourdough Sam and this Super Bowl is in its 60th year.

During the podcast, Swift also said the number 47 twice in random contexts. The first was following Jason Kelce’s intro hyping her up and listing all the accomplishments the music star is known for. She responded, “Thank you for screaming for like 47 seconds for me, that was so nice!”

The second time was when he asked her how many cities she visited to perform The Eras Tour, and she joked, “Around 47,000.”

Eagle-eyed Swifties noted that the 47th show of The Eras Tour took place at Levi’s Stadium.

When discussing during the podcast how she’s newer to the football world, she admitted she barely watched the sport before dating Kelce, but she does know every Super Bowl halftime show performance.
