What is Light Day?

In order to avoid the bustle of Black Friday and Cyber Monday — as well as to make things easier on his employees during the holidays — Sanderson and his company, Dragonsteel, have set aside a separate day for sharing deals on his books, merch and other products, as well as releasing brand new products, according to the Dragonsteel website.

When is Light Day 2025?

This year’s Light Day is taking place on Tuesday, Oct. 28, starting at 11 a.m. MDT.

What new products are coming on Light Day?

‘The Lost Metal’ in leather-bound

As Sanderson announced during his appearance at FanX Salt Lake Pop Culture and Comic Convention last month, “The Lost Metal” — the final book in the “Wax and Wayne” series of the “Mistborn” books — will be available in a leather-bound copy.

Travel T-shirts and character pins

T-shirts sporting designs for Cosmere locations like Elantris, Urithuru, T’Telir and more will be available to purchase, as well as new character and “Sandershelf” pins.

‘Worldhopper’ travel gear

New travel gear includes a canvas tote bag, a travel bag and an umbrella.
