- Audience votes have kept Andy Richter safe despite low scores each week.
- Danielle Fishel was eliminated from the competition this week.
- Team Chicago dominated the team dance competition with a perfect score of 40.
Despite landing at the bottom of the leaderboard every week, comedian Andy Richter continues to advance through the competition after making it safely through “Dancing with the Stars” Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night.
Richter and his partner, Emma Slater, had the lowest score of the night, with a total of 30 out of 40, which is their personal high score of the season.
They will continue to compete next week during the 20th Anniversary episode of the show, which is also the season’s quarterfinals.
During Tuesday’s episode, the pair performed a contemporary dance to “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys. They received scores of 7 from all three of the show’s regular judges, and special guest judge Flavor Flav awarded them their first 9.
Based on their scores from the judges, Slater and Richter have consistently fallen to the bottom of the leaderboard each week but manage to escape elimination each time thanks to audience votes.
Not only were the pair at the bottom of the leaderboard for their individual score, but their team also lost the team dance competition.
Who was eliminated this week?
After receiving a total score of 34 out of 40 and despite being on the winning team, “Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, were eliminated from the competition on Tuesday.
The pair had performed a contemporary dance to “Dream On” by Aerosmith. Last week, Fishel had been told to show more emotion in her dance, and the judges told her she delivered on that this week.
After the elimination was announced, Fishel shared that her experience on the show “meant everything” to her.
She added that it’s “truly been life changing, and every single moment, including this one, has been joyous.”
Pashkov said that Fishel is his “friend for life.”

The results of the team dance competition
After performing their individual dances, each of the eight couples were divided into two teams for the team dance competition.
The teams were chosen by their team captains, Richter and Fishel, who were dubbed team captains because they had the lowest total scores throughout the season.
Richter’s team was named Team Kool and Fishel’s was Team Chicago. The teams danced to live performances by Kool & The Gang and Chicago.
The team dance competition also had a special twist — the show’s two co-hosts, Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, each joined a team for their performance.
