Who will win ‘The Voice’ Season 28?

The Season 28 winner won’t be declared until the end of Tuesday night’s two-hour episode, but a few numbers and entertainment outlets point to the same contestant: Aiden Ross.

Ross was “Voice” coach Niall Horan’s No. 1 pick for the finale, and the 20-year-old singer from Texas has been a standout contestant all season long.

“To think this guy’s 20 years old and has that talent, it’s frightening,” Horan said following Ross’ performance of Damien Rice’s “The Blower’s Daughter” during the Playoffs, which advanced him to the finale.

“Thank you for believing in me,” Ross said as he hugged his “Voice” coach.

Following Ross’ performance of Billie Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over” during the Knockouts, Snoop Dogg made a bold claim: “You sound like you could actually win ‘The Voice.’”

Now, Ross is getting closer to making that happen.

As of Tuesday night, his finale performance of ABBA’s “The Winner Takes It All” has over 90,000 views on YouTube; the second-most viewed performance from the finale is Max Chambers’ rendition of Whitney Houston’s “One Moment In Time,” has over 45,000.

The numbers don’t paint as a clear a picture on Instagram, though.

On Instagram, the finale performance with the most likes — around 27,000 — is Chambers’ rendition of Forrest Frank’s “Your Way’s Better.”

Ross’ “Winner Takes It All” is the third-most liked performance on Instagram, with just over 14,000. But his other finale performance, a rendition of JVKE’s “golden hour,” is close behind with over 12,000 likes, indicating the contestant’s popularity is a little more consistent across the board.

The entertainment site Parade, meanwhile, has predicted Ross will win the Season 28 competition.
