After starring on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and “Dancing with the Stars,” as well as booking her Broadway debut, Utahn Whitney Leavitt will now be starring in a movie.
Leavitt will be making her feature debut as executive producer and star of “All For Love.” The movie is a holiday rom-com from production company The Ninth House (Lifetime’s “Forever”), according to Deadline.
The film is currently in production and Leavitt will be starring opposite Jesse Kove.
“All for Love” is directed by Jake Helgren, who directed “A Cowboy Christmas Romance,” and the script was written by Ansley Gordon, who previously worked on “A Christmas Frequency.”
The movie is set to be released during next year’s holiday season and multiple platforms are currently in talks to distribute, per Deadline.
What is ‘All for Love’ about?
The story centers on Leavitt’s character, Winona, who is a popular young podcaster that is forced to try and find love online by a holiday dating-app partnership, per People.
When Winona connects with a mystery man, she doesn’t know that he is Luke (Kove), the man who is renovating her grandmother’s Christmas Eve venue.
Leavitt is also set to make her Broadway debut
Leavitt was one of the celebrity contestants on the most recent season of “Dancing with the Stars.” Along with her pro partner Mark Ballas, she made it to the show’s semifinals.
She has also starred in all three seasons of Hulu’s “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
Shortly after Leavitt completed her “Dancing with the Stars” run, it was announced that she would make her Broadway debut as “Roxie Hart” in “Chicago.”
Leavitt will make a limited engagement run in the show, appearing in performances starting Feb. 2 to March 15, 2026. “Chicago” is showing at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City.
