It begins on the morning of the reaping of the 50th Hunger Games, which has a deadly twist: Twice the number of tributes — a total of 48 children — are being sent into the arena to fight for their lives.

The book follows two children, Digory Kirke and Polly Plummer, who are transported to a magical world while playing in the study of Digory’s uncle, Andrew Ketterly. Their adventures in the world of Narnia reveal the origins of the world itself.

In 2024, it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. — who played Tony Stark in the previous “Avengers” movies — would be appearing in “Doomsday” as the villain Dr. Doom.
This month, Marvel has started releasing teasers for the upcoming movies in theaters, each featuring different characters such as Thor and Steve Rogers. The one featuring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers was recently released online.

The third movie in Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” trilogy will be “Dune: Part Three.”
The movie will take viewers back to Arrakis following the events of the book “Dune Messiah” by Frank Herbert. But the events of that book take place over a decade after the original novel that the first two movies are based on.
