For the first time ever, fans of “Dancing with the Stars” will be able to gather together, interact with the pro dancers and former celebrity contestants, and participate in a variety of activities related to the hit show.
During “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, organizers announced the first Dancing with the Stars Con will take place this summer in Palm Springs, California. The convention will start on Friday, July 31, and run until Sunday, Aug. 2.
The convention is being marketed as a “celebration of all things ”Dancing with the Stars.”
Fans will be able to enjoy live dance performances, interactive live panels, exhibits, Q&A sessions, photo experiences, exclusive merchandise and more.
“For years our fans have been clamoring for even more ways to engage with the show, and we’re thrilled to have created this rare and immersive opportunity to experience the magic, the music, the movement, the emotion, and the heart that continues to make this show so special,” said Ryan O’Dowd, executive producer of the show, per People.
Where will Dancing with the Stars Con be held?
The three-day convention will be held at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs. The venue, located in the heart of Coachella Valley, can hold more than 11,000 people.
The convention will take place two months after the conclusion of the “Dancing with the Stars Live!” tour, which makes its final stop on May 13 in Akron, Ohio.

Here’s a look at the schedule for the convention, according to ABC News:
Friday, July 31: The weekend will kick off with a welcome event, featuring appearances from the pros and a game-show style experience.
Saturday, Aug. 1: Fans will be able to attend panels where they can ask questions of the pros and celebrities. The evening will feature a live dance performance from “Dancing with the Stars” pros and other special guests. The performance will be directed by Mandy Moore.
Sunday, Aug. 2: The final day of the convention will include more panels, a matinee live performance and a mock competition. It will all conclude with a special farewell event.
“It’s really cool because it’s never been done before,” “DWTS” pro Witney Carson said on “Good Morning America.”
She continued: “You’re going to have access to pros and celebrities, which is really fun, and we’re just really excited to see you guys there.”

Tickets for the convention will go on sale on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 5 a.m. MST. The tickets can be purchased online at Dwtscon.com. There will also be multiple presales.
There will be a Verizon presale for any Verizon customers, which starts Thursday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. MST. That presale will end Friday, Feb. 13, at 11 p.m. MST.
The Mirrorball member presale will start Thursday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m. MST.
VIP packages and discounts for Palm Springs hotels will be available on the convention’s website.
