Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will launch their “Land of Hope & Dreams” American tour this spring, beginning March 31 at Minneapolis’ Target Center and concluding May 27 with a final outdoor show at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

The 20-date tour features 19 arena or stadium stops nationwide, with tickets on sale Feb. 21 or 22 via Ticketmaster.

The closest show to Utah is April 16 in Phoenix, with early shows in Portland, Oregon and three shows in California.

The itinerary carries symbolic weight for the band, starting in Minneapolis — referenced in Springsteen’s protest song “Streets of Minneapolis” — and ending in the nation’s capital, a focus of his frequent criticism of President Donald Trump.

“We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming!” Springsteen said in a video announcing the tour.

“We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America — American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream,” Springsteen added.
