Mickey Mouse just invited a beloved new friend into the clubhouse — Bluey.
Expecting a surprise from his floating robot helper Toodles, Mickey is suddenly transported to a sky-blue backdrop where Bluey — the wildly popular Australian blue heeler puppy — and her family are waiting.
The moment marked the first crossover between two of the biggest cartoon hits.
Together, Mickey and Bluey enjoyed a game of musical statues with the Heeler family and other clubhouse friends, including Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Pluto.
Mickey and Bluey’s crossover appears in the latest episode of the Disney Jr. series, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ Shorts,” where Mickey and friends meet other beloved characters, including Spidey and Lilo and Stitch.
The two-minute episode is now available on Disney+ and YouTube.
Disney Jr. acquired the rights to “Bluey” in 2019, and the animated series quickly became an explosive hit. By 2024, the children’s cartoon was the most-streamed series of the year across all genres, amassing more than 55.6 billion minutes of watch time on Disney+ — outperforming “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Family Guy” and “NCIS,” according to Nielsen.
“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” which premiered on Disney Channel in 2006, continues to reach large audiences. After ranking among the top ten most-watched shows for preschoolers in 2024, Disney revived the series as “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” in 2025 for its streaming platform. The series was renewed for a second and third season, scheduled for 2027 and 2028.
