SALT LAKE CITY — Distribution retail stores owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are adjusting services to align with government and community health guidelines, the church announced Wednesday.
Most church distribution retail stores had already reduced hours of operation in support of temples only performing living ordinances starting earlier this week. Now, COVID-19 restrictions have compelled the closure of church distribution retail stores in the following 45 locations:

Church-service missionaries have been instructed to stay home until operations return to normal, the statement said.
Earlier this week, the church closed all Deseret Industries Thrift stores to the public although they remain open to serve some individual needs.
