SALT LAKE CITY — For the second time this year, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold a digital-only general conference as the world continues to battle a global pandemic.
“Because of our concern for the health and safety of others, we have decided that the October 2020 general conference will follow the same pattern as the conference held in April of this year,” the First Presidency said in a letter to leaders and members released in June.
Only the First Presidency and those participating in the session will be in attendance.
The four general sessions held Saturday, Oct. 3 (10 a.m. and 2 p.m. MDT) and Sunday, Oct. 4 (10 a.m. and 2 p.m.) will be broadcast from a small auditorium near Temple Square, as they were in April. All music for the conference has been prerecorded.
All women and young women, ages 11 and older, are invited to participate in a women’s session Saturday at 6 p.m.
