Church releases exterior rendering for Farmington New Mexico Temple

The exterior rendering of a new temple of coming to Farmington, New Mexico, was released Tuesday by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Farmington New Mexico Temple was one of 20 announced by President Russell M. Nelson at the end of the April 2021 general conference.

The location and construction plans for the Farmington New Mexico Temple were released on June 23.

The Farmington New Mexico Temple will be the second Latter-day Saint temple in Land of Enchantment. The first temple is in Albuquerque.

There are nearly 70,000 members in New Mexico attending close to 140 congregations, according to the church’s newsroom.
