The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square recently announced five guest artists will be joining them for a series of concerts in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

These concerts — scheduled to take place Aug. 19, 22 and 23 — will mark the choir’s fifth stop on its “Songs of Hope” world tour. The artists that will accompany the choir on this fifth stop include Raúl Lavié, Maggie Cullen, Dos Más Uno, Soledad Pastorutti and Alex Melecio, who has previously performed with the choir on its world tour.

According to a Friday news release, the choir’s Argentina concerts will also form part of a continent-wide commemoration honoring 100 years since South America was dedicated for the establishment of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Said choir president Michael O. Leavitt, “The choir has been inspired by the faith of the South American members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and we are eager to celebrate this important anniversary with them.”

The release further states the choir’s final performance in Argentina will be broadcast live on the choir’s YouTube channel and to local celebrations across the continent and the Caribbean.

Previously, the choir’s world tour has taken the choir to Mexico City, Mexico; Manila, Philippines; Sunrise, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; and Lima, Peru. Plans to travel to Brazil in late February 2026 are next on the roster, following the choir’s Argentina concerts.
