The Relief Society general presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inviting all Latter-day Saint women, friends and young women turning 18 in 2026 to gather this March for its annual worldwide broadcast and local testimony meeting celebrating the organization’s sisterhood and anniversary.
“There is healing and strength when sisters gather together,” Relief Society General President Camille N. Johnson said in an event notice recently published on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. “In these moments, the Savior allows us to feel his love through one another.”
This year’s speakers for the broadcast will include President Johnson and her counselors in the Relief Society general presidency, Sister J. Anette Dennis and Sister Kristin M. Yee. Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will also share a special message, according to the church’s event notice.
In addition to the 30-40 minute broadcast, which will be available to view and download beginning March 8, the church will also release several 2- to 4-minute discussion videos featuring members of the Relief Society General Advisory Council.
These videos form a “new element” added this year and are for local Relief Society presidencies to “prayerfully consider how to incorporate in ways that bless and support the sisters they serve,” Sister Dennis said in a video that she, Sister Yee and President Johnson filmed and posted on Instagram to invite others to watch the broadcast.
The videos will cover topics such as finding strength and relief in Jesus Christ, managing competing priorities, building emotional resilience, discovering the divine design in family and staying committed when facing offense, hurt or misfortune.
“We are all sisters in the Lord’s work,” Sister Yee said in the church’s event notice. “Each of us is learning and growing through his grace. We hope this broadcast and additional resources help you to feel his love and grow together.”
How to watch the broadcast and additional resources
Latter-day Saint women and friends are encouraged to gather as wards, branches or stakes on or near March 17, the anniversary of the organization of Relief Society.
“Local gatherings may include a testimony meeting and should begin and end with prayer,” the church’s release states.
President Johnson offered a few ideas of what these local gatherings may look like in the general presidency’s video invitation on Instagram. Stake or ward Relief Society presidents may decide to plan a women’s conference, a Saturday morning activity or a special Sunday night testimony meeting using the resources provided, she said.
The discussion videos, she added, can be used at the same time as the broadcast or throughout the year as resources for counseling in Sunday Relief Society meetings or activities. They may also be used for personal study.
“We pray this is an opportunity to feel God’s immense love for each of you,” President Johnson said, “and to feel the comradery and support that comes from being with your Relief Society sisters. We love you and look forward to being with you soon.”
Those interested will be able to find and view the broadcast on the church’s broadcasts page, the Gospel Library app and the Living the Gospel YouTube channel beginning March 8. The discussion videos will also be available starting March 8 on ChurchofJesusChrist.org and the Gospel Library app. To see a broadcast schedule, information on language availability and other details, click here.
