The Jordan Beetdiggers took down the visiting Bingham Miners in a thrilling battle on Thursday that finished 9-7.
Each team utilized a pair of three-run innings on the path to being all tied up at seven heading into the sixth frame. After Bingham failed to score in the top half, the Beetdiggers were able to score a couple of runs off of a Carter Perry two-run single and the Miners couldn’t respond.
“That was a great game for us. It was hard fought by both teams.” said Jordan coach Chad Fife. “We have been up and down this season as a team and hopefully this will get us going as we compete in a tough region.”
