Utah citizens need to show respect and lead the way as recommended in Spencer Fix’s Readers’ Forum letter printed Feb. 29.
We should be proud of Sens. Mitt Romney and Mike Lee for their integrity to vote based on their conscience not party affiliation. We should vote for and support politicians that have the same goals and desires we have. If politicians vote for things for the right reasons, they will always be right. If they vote for things for the wrong reasons, they will always be wrong. What they do today defines what they will be tomorrow.
We respect and support our two great Utah senators. I believe political parties have became too powerful, influencing some senators not to vote what their own conscience dictates. We should not put party above the people.
President Donald Thump was very fortunate in having one of Utah’s senators, Mike Lee, support his innocence in his impeachment trail.
