President Trump’s pardon of former Honduran President Hernández, a convicted cocaine trafficker, is another example of why Trump’s actions are concerning.
The pardon allowed Hernández, who was serving a 45-year prison term for working with cartels to ship 400 tons of cocaine to the U.S., to walk free as the administration kills alleged low-level drug smugglers by launching airstrikes at sea. This is just one more example of Trump freeing convicted criminals. How does this make Americans safer?
