Cami Mondeaux asks a good question about Congress giving up its constitutionally assigned job to the White House. (“Is Congress giving up its control to the White House?” Dec. 14, 2025.)
The Utah delegation’s answers seem sketchy. It’s time for constituents to follow up this question and find out why millions of Americans will have health care premiums double or triple or even lose their health care entirely. And what about the cuts to SNAP that will cause hunger to skyrocket? The Big Beautiful Bill is the source of these problems. The cuts were said to be necessary to cover the $4 trillion in tax cuts for the wealthy over the next 10 years, yet the health care subsidies that would cost $450 billion were deemed too expensive.
Use your voice to tell those who represent you what is wrong with this picture, ‘cause they don’t seem to see it.
