Trump advisor Stephen Miller stated recently, “No one will fight the U.S. for Greenland.” He is wrong! I, for one, will fight for Greenlanders’ liberty and right to self-determination. As a US Air Force aviator stationed in Europe 40 years ago, I was prepared to go to war to defend our allies’ liberty. My commitment to liberty remains fervent.
Today, I am horrified that this threat to liberty comes from our own administration. I will, of course, not take up arms against my own country. I will, however, actively resist any action by our government to annex Greenland, whether by military means or otherwise.
