Since the Justice Department released its latest tranche of files related to its investigation into the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, headlines from all across the board have focused on the revelations that are now available to the public.

The DOJ published over 3 million additional pages to its online database, including more than 2,000 videos and 180,000 images. The release comes more than a month after the deadline set by Congress and enacted by President Donald Trump in the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

Since then, several prominent celebrities and politicians have been tied to documents included in the latest file dump, either through direct communications with Epstein associates or through unrelated news articles or informative materials.

Here are some of the biggest news stories coming out of the Epstein files.

Bill and Hillary Clinton testify before Congress

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will testify before the House Oversight Committee later this month as the couple agreed to a transcribed, videotaped deposition on Tuesday.

Hillary Clinton will sit with the committee on Feb. 26 and Bill Clinton will appear on Feb. 27.

The testimony comes as the House was scheduled to vote on a pair of resolutions to hold the two in contempt, which would refer them to the Justice Department for possible criminal charges.

The testimony comes as Bill Clinton has been referenced multiple times in the Epstein files, as well as some photos of the former president in a hot tub with Epstein and someone the Justice Department identified as a victim.

Being named in the files does not indicate any wrongdoing.

Trump wants to sue comedian over Epstein files joke

President Donald Trump, who is also named repeatedly in the Epstein files but has denied any wrongdoing, has also generated headlines after threatening to sue a comedian after making a joke appearing to tie him to Epstein.

During the Grammys award show on Sunday night, host Trevor Noah made a quip connecting Trump to Epstein’s island, where Epstein allegedly trafficked several of his victims.

“(Song of the Year) is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton,” Noah said.

Trump responded to the speech in a post on Truth Social, calling the award show itself “unwatchable” and threatening to “sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope.”

“I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast.”

NFL owner under investigation over alleged ties to Epstein

The National Football League announced it would open an inquiry into Steve Tisch, co-owner of the New York Giants, after the latest batch of Epstein files included frequent and often crude exchanges between him and Epstein.

Some of the emails between the two showed Epstein allegedly seeking to connect Tisch with different women, with the NFL owner occasionally using slang terms to ask if those women were sex workers.

Tisch said in a statement last week that he had a “brief association with Epstein,” and he said the women they were communicating about were adult women. There is no evidence the referenced women were underage victims.

The NFL said it would look into the matter, although stopped short of saying it would open a formal investigation.

“We are going to look at all the facts, we are going to look at the context of those, we are going to try to understand that,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in response.

Melinda Gates says ex-husband must answer for ties to Epstein files

Philanthropist Melinda Gates says her husband Bill Gates must answer for his alleged behavior in the Epstein files, including email communications that insinuated the Microsoft co-founder was having an affair and soliciting drugs.

Bill Gates has since denied the allegations, with a spokesperson saying the documents only show “Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.”

Melinda Gates publicly responded to the claims this week: “Whatever questions remain there ... for those people, and for even my ex-husband, they need to answer to those things, not me,” she told NPR’s “Wild Card” podcast. “And I am so happy to be away from all the muck that was there.”
