Dwayne Wade’s oldest son defended Wade’s youngest son in a new Instagram post after a week of controversy for the Wade family.

The setup: Dwayne Wade’s son Zion, 12, was slammed on social media last week for wearing a crop top and having white painted nails.

  • Wade fired back at critics on Twitter: “I’ve seen some post-thanksgiving hate on social about my family photo. Stupidity is apart (sic) of this world we live in—i get it. But here is the thing—I have been chosen to lead my family not y’all. So we’ll continue to be us and support each other with pride, love and a smile!’’

Now: Zaire Wade defended his brother with a new Instagram photo. The picture shows Zaire and Zion sitting near a throne. The location is tagged as “Family first.”

“We didn’t ask for y’all opinion,” the caption reads.
