LeBron James nears the rim, ready to slam home a dunk. Dwyane Wade stretches his hands outward like wings.

The moment was brief — less than 12 seconds of time. But it was captured. And today makes the ninth anniversary of the famous photo of James and Wade, then Miami Heat teammates, completing a transition dunk sequence against the Milwaukee Bucks in 2010.

The photo was captured by Morry Gash of The Associated Press, according to USA Today.
