SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz started fast and easily put away Sacramento, beating the Kings 123-101 Saturday night at Vivint Arena.

  • Utah (29-13) never trailed and built a 16-point lead at 38-22 through one quarter, led by 14 first-quarter points from Bojan Bogdanovic on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting effort. Bogdanovic ended the night with a game-high 30 points in the Jazz win, one of four players (Rudy Gobert with 28, Donovan Mitchell with 22 and Jordan Clarkson with 20) with 20 or more points.
  • Mike Conley returned from a 14-game absence due to a hamstring injury and played 15 minutes for Utah. He had a minimal impact, with three points on 1 of 3 shooting to go with three assists, two steals and a rebound.
  • The Jazz had a sizable advantage at the free-throw line, hitting 23 of 24 while the Kings (15-27) made only 7 of 12.
