Utah (29-13) never trailed and built a 16-point lead at 38-22 through one quarter, led by 14 first-quarter points from Bojan Bogdanovic on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting effort. Bogdanovic ended the night with a game-high 30 points in the Jazz win, one of four players (Rudy Gobert with 28, Donovan Mitchell with 22 and Jordan Clarkson with 20) with 20 or more points.
Mike Conley returned from a 14-game absence due to a hamstring injury and played 15 minutes for Utah. He had a minimal impact, with three points on 1 of 3 shooting to go with three assists, two steals and a rebound.
The Jazz had a sizable advantage at the free-throw line, hitting 23 of 24 while the Kings (15-27) made only 7 of 12.
