Yoeli Childs warms up prior to BYU’s matchup with No. 1 Gonzaga, doesn’t play in game

SALT LAKE CITY — Yoeli Childs was dressed and warmed up before BYU’s matchup with No. 1 Gonzaga at the Kennel in Spokane, Wash., on Saturday.

The star forward wasn’t among BYU’s starters, though, and he ultimately didn’t play in the game as BYU fell 92-69 to the Zags. He was a game-time decision, per Deseret News BYU beat writer Jeff Call.

Childs has missed the Cougars’ past three games with a finger injury.

Watching warmups, Yoeli's finger injury seems to be affecting his shot. He's missed quite a few. But there's no doubt that his leadership, rebounding and defense would mean a lot to BYU tonight.
