Here’s a look at the daily boys basketball RPI change after Tuesday’s results. The Deseret News will update these rankings and indicate the RPI movement up and down every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday throughout region play.
The top spots in all six classifications remained the same with Fremont, Maple Mountain, Sky View, Manti, Kanab and Valley staying put.
Fremont got a big 70-66 win over previously-unbeaten Layton to widen its cushion in the 6A rankings, while Maple Mountain hung onto the top spot in 5A despite losing to Salem Hills 57-56 on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s biggest RPI gainer was Box Elder which vaulted from No. 13 to No. 10 after an impressive 85-75 win over Woods Cross.
The biggest drops belonged to Provo which fell from No. 7 to No. 11 after its 65-60 loss to Spanish Fork on Tuesday.
