The Pac-12 Conference announced on Thursday the weekly matchups and sites for its upcoming men’s basketball campaign — which will be 20 games for the first time this season — although only specific dates for two of each team’s games (which had previously been scheduled) were unveiled.

Conference play will open Dec. 2 with two games, Colorado at Arizona and Oregon State at Washington State. The Utah Runnin’ Utes will open the next night with a home game against Washington, and a contest between Arizona State and Cal will also be played on Dec. 3. The other Utah game that was announced will be a Dec. 22 road trip to Arizona State.

After UCLA plays at Oregon on Dec. 23, the league will kick into high gear with six games scheduled every week, starting the week of Dec. 30. Utah will make a trip to Southern California that week, where it will play both UCLA and USC. It will then host Oregon and Oregon State the week of Jan. 6-10.

Utah will stay home for games against the central California schools — Cal and Stanford — the next week, followed by road trips the next two weeks, one to Washington and Washington State and the next to Colorado to get through January.

The Runnin’ Utes will then host Arizona and Arizona State the first week of February, followed by a road trip to central California the next week. Utah will again play on the road the next week, going to the Oregon schools.

The Utes will get the last two weeks of the regular season at home, as they’ll host USC and UCLA the last week of February, and they’ll host Colorado on either March 6 or 7 for senior day (Alfonso Plummer is the only senior on the roster).

Specific dates and times for each game within a week will be announced after selections by the league’s television partners are finalized. All 120 conference games will be televised by either Pac-12 Network, ESPN/2/U, Fox/FS1 or CBS.

The conference tournament, which was shut down this year before it was finished as the coronavirus pandemic took hold in the United States, is scheduled to be played March 10-13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Utah will open this season in the Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic on Nov. 25 against Creighton. The game will air on ESPN2.
