BYU didn’t move in the polls following its 28-14 victory over San Diego State on Saturday night, as there were fewer Top 25 results from a relatively light weekend.
The Cougars (10-1) stayed at No. 14 in the latest Associated Press poll released Sunday, while they stood still at No. 16 in the Coaches poll.
Miami, which lost 62-26 to North Carolina, fell behind BYU in both polls, as the Hurricanes dropped to No. 19 in the AP and Coaches. The Tar Heels, meanwhile, leapfrogged BYU to No. 15 in the Coaches, while moving up to No. 16 in the AP.

USC, which rallied for a 43-38 win over UCLA, jumped BYU in the AP poll, to No. 13. The Trojans, the lone Pac-12 team in either poll, moved up two spots to No. 13 in the Coaches.
The other major mover was Florida, which lost 37-34 to unranked LSU and likely cost itself a chance at the College Football Playoff. The Gators fell five spots to No. 11 in both polls.
The top five stayed the same in both polls. In the AP, Alabama is No. 1, followed by Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson and Texas A&M. In the Coaches, Alabama is No. 1, followed by Notre Dame, Clemson, Ohio State and Texas A&M to round out the top five.
Utah, following a 38-21 win over then-ranked Colorado, received four votes in the Coaches poll.
The next College Football Playoff rankings will be released Tuesday, and the final CFP rankings are set to come out next Sunday. The Cougars were ranked No. 18 in the last CFP rankings.
