OGDEN — Fremont’s Dallin Hall announced on twitter on Friday his intention to sign a Nation Letter of Intent with the BYU men’s basketball program this coming April. Hall is a 6-foot-3 guard who led the Silverwolves to a 6A state championship this past season.

Hall told the Deseret News during the 6A basketball playoffs that he had narrowed his commitment decision to either BYU, Utah or Utah State. Hall is rated a 3-star prospect on the 24/7 Sports Network and also held an offer from Oregon State.

Hall plans on serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints prior to enrolling at BYU.

During the state playoffs, Hall played big throughout, but particularly during his team’s 72-66 semifinal win over Layton, where he scored 38 points and recorded five steals. Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell was in attendance and met with Hall after the game.
