PROVO — BYU spring football practices are suspended indefinitely and the program’s pro day, scheduled for March 27, is postponed until further notice amid concerns over the coronavirus outbreak, the school said Friday.

On Thursday, the school announced football practices were canceled through the remainder of the week, as well as Friday’s football coaches clinic for high school coaches that was to feature Super Bowl winning Kansas City coach Andy Reid.

BYU also suspended all athletic events Thursday due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Friday’s news serving as a clarification about football spring practice.
