A day after she was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman team and All-Conference honorable mention by coaches, Utah’s Brynna Maxwell was named to the media’s All-Freshman team on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, she became the first Utah freshman since the school joined the Pac-12 to earn a spot on the all-conference team voted on by coaches.

A native of Gig Harbor, Washington, the 6-foot Maxwell is Utah’s leading scorer with an average of exactly 13 points per game and leads the Pac-12 in 3-pointers made (75) and 3-point percentage (.452). She is second in the country among freshmen in 3s made and eighth in percentage.

Maxwell’s fellow Utah freshman teammate, Lola Pendande, on Tuesday was named Pac-12 All-Freshman honorable mention by coaches.
