SALT LAKE CITY — As NFL teams have begun getting ready for the 2020 season, former BYU star and current New Orleans Saints quarterback/utility man Taysom Hill has been preparing for fatherhood.

On Saturday, Hill announced on social media that his wife Emily gave birth to their first child, a son they named Beau Nixon Hill (Nixon is Emily’s maiden name).

Beau Hill arrived right around as expected, as his dad posted on Instagram Aug. 10 a photo of himself putting a crib together, and he indicated in the caption that the due date was two weeks away.
