SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz moved to 2-2 overall in seeding games during the NBA restart after beating the Memphis Grizzlies 124-115 on Wednesday afternoon in Orlando.

  • Utah, which has been struggling from 3-point range in the Orlando ‘bubble,’ showed marked improvement beyond the arc against Memphis. Joe Ingles hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Jazz up double-digits with 2:51 to play and had a team-high six 3s and 25 points as the Jazz made 18 of 45 3-pointers. The Grizzlies also hit double-digit 3s, making 11 of 29.
  • Rudy Gobert was a force on both ends for the Jazz, who had six players in double-figure scoring. Gobert had 21 points to go along with 16 rebounds, five offensive boards, three blocks, two steals and an assist, and Utah outrebounded Memphis 46-41.
  • Utah ended the first half on a 22-1 run after falling behind by 13 points in the second quarter. Early on, the Jazz were struggling with turnovers, with 13 turnovers leading to 16 Grizzlies halfway through the second period. After that, though, Utah got a handle on the issue and finished the game with 25 assists and 17 turnovers.
