REGION 1

Fremont 46, Clearfield 28

Cannon Kofford passed for two touchdowns while Kyler Kotter added a rushing and receiving score as Fremont outscored Clearfield 21-0 in the third quarter to break open a close game and pull away for the Region 1 win. Christian Blanch returned an interception 16 yards for a TD late in the third quarter that effectively put the game out of reach.

Davis 40, Layton 7

A 30-point explosion in the first quarter by Davis virtually ended the game just as it started. David Spjut and Spencer Ferguson each had two touchdowns for the Darts.

Weber 48, Northridge 0

The Northridge defense just couldn’t contain the Weber offense in this contest. Cannon DeVries was electric for the Warriors, scoring two touchdowns, one of which was a 75-yard punt return.

Roy 30, Syracuse 15

After Syracuse kicked a late field goal to make it a one possession game, Izzy Gordon of Roy responded with a 57-yard touchdown run to ice it.

REGION 2

Cyprus 32, Taylorsville 30

Cyprus stormed back to defeat Taylorsville, scoring the final three scores of the game within three minutes. A Fisi Tuatonga interception return with a minute left brought the Pirates within striking distance and a Gabriel Williams run sealed the deal.

Hunter 28, Granger 8

Justice Brusatto returned an interception 65 yards for a score, and Josh Harding threw a pair of second half touchdowns as Hunter methodically pulled away from rival Granger for the Region 2 victory.

West 38, West Jordan 35

West jumped out to a 31-7 halftime lead and then held off a ferocious rally late by West Jordan to hold on for the Region 2 win. Clarence Bird-Butler rushed for two touchdowns and also caught a TD pass to lead the Panthers offensively, while Talitui Pututau recorded a pick-six defensively.

REGION 5

Bonneville 44, Viewmont 27

Kamen Best passed for two touchdowns and Jordan Citte rushed for two more as Bonneville outscored Viewmont 17-0 in the second half en route to the region victory. Best’s touchdown pass to Caleb Nielson early in the second half gave the Lakers the lead for good.

Bountiful 26, Woods Cross 24

Brooks Fornelius hauled in a pass from Max Barker on the final play of the game as Bountiful scored twice in the final six minutes to rally for the win over rival Woods Cross. The Wildcats scored 17 straight points coming out of halftime to build a 24-14 lead, but Bountiful rallied as Barker connected with Fornelius on both fourth quarter touchdowns.

Box Elder 15, Farmington 14

The defensive units for both teams were stellar and kept the score low. A second-quarter two point conversion for Box Elder ended up being the only thing that separated these two teams as the Bees claimed a strong road win.

REGION 6

Brighton 21, Olympus 14

The Bengals emerged victorious after a back-and-forth battle with Olympus. Gabe Curtis found Collin Edwards for a touchdown and Mason Young rushed for the other two in the win. | Story

Skyline 52, Hillcrest 0

The combined efforts of Skyline’s defensive and offensive units essentially put this game away before the second half even happened. Skyline quarterback Braxton Bolingbroke tossed five touchdowns in the first half alone.

REGION 7

Timpview 43, Mountain Ridge 3

A 28-point third quarter explosion allowed Timpview to break away from Mountain Ridge. Raider Damuni set the tone early for the Thunderbirds with a 96-yard kickoff return to start the game.

REGION 8

Springville 41, Provo 14

Seth Rigtrup rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns as Springville broke open a close game at the half to runaway from Provo for the region win. Kade Dellamas threw for three touchdowns and 216 yards for the Red Devils.

Wasatch 26, Spanish Fork 17

After giving up an early 16-point lead, the Wasps put the clamps on Spanish Fork in the fourth quarter to give their offense a chance to retake the lead. Adarius Edwards’ clutch fourth quarter touchdown pass to Cooper Scott gave Wasatch a two-score margin and eventually the victory.

REGION 9

Dixie 13, Desert Hills 0

Rene Bernal nailed two field goals and quarterback Bronson Barben found Joshua Barney for a late touchdown as the Flyers picked up the a low-scoring victory over Desert Hills.

Snow Canyon 44, Hurricane 0

Landon Frei completed 16 of 17 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns to three different receivers as Snow Canyon outscored Hurricane 42-0 in the middle two quarters to run away with the win and remain undefeated on the season.

Pine View 55, Cedar City 21

Brayden Bunnell completed 29 of 41 passes for 384 yards and four touchdowns, with two of the those scores going to Dominique McKenzie, who finished with 104 yards, as Pine View pulled away from Cedar City in the second half to remain unbeaten in Region 9 play.

Crimson Cliffs 40, Canyon View 7

Creed Leonard was on fire for the Mustangs, rushing for four of his team’s six touchdowns in the win over Canyon View. Tyler Brown was responsible for the other two touchdowns, connecting with Gunner Orr and rushing for one of his own for the final two scores.

REGION 10

Mountain View 49, Uintah 0

Uintah was was outmatched by Mountain View in nearly every facet of the game. Mountain View quarterback Jackson McCarty was poised and efficient on the night, throwing for three touchdowns in leading the Bruins to the big win.

Cedar Valley 28, Ben Lomond 21

Vili Mausia rushed for three touchdowns as Cedar Valley held off Ben Lomond to pick up the region road win.

Park City 48, Ogden 3

The Miner defense allowed just one scoring play from the Tigers and picked up the victory at home. Brayden Beyer tossed two touchdown passes and Max Alford rushed for another two in the win.

Stansbury 44, Tooele 21

The offensive units of both teams put up a solid amount of yards, but it was Stansbury who turned those yards into points. Nate Bushnell (three rushing touchdowns) led a stellar ground game for Stallions.

REGION 11

Sky View 42, Green Canyon 14

Green Canyon just couldn’t keep up with the intense scoring pace that Sky View set. Isaac Larsen had two game-breaking plays, an 80-yard touchdown catch on the first play of the game and a 92-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Ridgeline 34, Bear River 27

Bear River jumped out to a quick lead, Ridgeline raced ahead by halftime and then Bear River nearly battled back to force overtime, as it was stopped at the 1-yard line on the final play of the game in a wild Region 11 clash. Kaden Cox passed for four touchdowns to lead the Riverhawks.

Logan 35, Mountain Crest 6

Logan jumped all over Mountain Crest in the second quarter, outscoring the Mustangs 21-0 to open up a 28-0 halftime lead en route to the easy win. Kody Kirk threw a pair of touchdown passes to lead Logan’s offense, while Jacob Tegt returned an interception 85 yards for another score that pushed the lead to 21-0.

2A NORTH

Duchesne 20, North Summit 6

Duchesne held North Summit scoreless in the second half to pick up the 2A victory.

Gunnison Valley 21, Rich 0

Jack Hansen rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another as Gunnison Valley went on the road and earned a shutout victory over Rich.

2A SOUTH

Enterprise 22, North Sevier 9

Enterprise made it hard for North Sevier to find any momentum on offense. Defense, strong play in the redzone as well as an electric 80-yard kick return by Bryant Jimenez allowed the Wolves to seal the win on the road.

Beaver 48, Milford 7

Treyson Hunter threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more in Beaver’s win.

Kanab 14, Parowan 0

Kanab’s defense held Parowan to just 146 yards of total offense as it earned a shutout for the second straight week. Michael Warino led the way offensively for Kanab with 13 carries for 102 yards, while Derek Houston rushed for a score and passed for another.

NONREGION

Kearns 44, Riverton 19

Kearns earned another blowout win, this time defeating Riverton. Naki Leha had three rushing touchdowns and Iosefa Toia’vao added two passing touchdowns. | Story

Bingham 24, Westlake 3

Semisi Vi and Cael Wightman both rushed for touchdowns and Bingham’s defense dominated led by a pick-six from Isaiah Glasker as the Miners wrapped up the preseason with a victory over Westlake.

Skyridge 68, Jordan 7

The Falcons cruised to the home victory over Jordan. McCae Hillstead led Skyridge with six touchdown passes and 355 passing yards — finding James Palmer four times — and two more rushing touchdowns in the win.

American Fork 56, Herriman 6

American Fork quarterback Maddux Madsen followed up last week’s nine-touchdown performance with seven this week against the Mustangs.

Corner Canyon 56, Alta 6

Jaxson Dart threw four touchdowns to four different receivers and also rushed for three more scores as the top-ranked Chargers rolled to another dominant win after scoring 35 points in the second quarter.

North Sanpete 51, Grand 13

The Hawks scored early and often in the first half to take a big lead and eventually secure the victory over Grand. Morgan Bowles tossed three TD passes — finding Cole Mickel twice — and Jordan Watts rushed for another two scores in the win.

Delta 37, South Sevier 14

After a slow start, the Rabbits took the lead and secured the big win over South Sevier. Will Finlinson and Britton Smith each rushed for two touchdowns for Delta in the victory.

Pleasant Grove 35, Lehi 29 (OT)

Pleasant Grove defeated Lehi in an overtime thriller. Spencer Tauteoli had the game-winning run in overtime. | Story

Millard 55, Monticello 6

Millard took this game from Monticello in dominating fashion. Jed (75 yard pick-six) and Luke (two rushing touchdowns) DeGraffenried provided plenty of highlight plays for the Eagles.

South Summit 34, Payson 12

The Wildcats scored 20 points in the second quarter to take the lead and cruise to the win over Payson. Kyler Sudweeks tossed three touchdown passes, finding Hayden Suhadolc for two of those, while Dart Sanchez rushed for two TDs of his own.

Union 37, Carbon 20

After an even first half, the Cougars scored 17 unanswered points to take the lead and secure the victory over Carbon. Chase Harding tossed two touchdown passes and Thayne Arrowchis had an early 80-yard kick return for a score to get Union off to a quick start.

Juan Diego 31, Copper Hills 13

Dallas Larson, Jeremy Ortega and Tyler Easter scored on the ground for Juan Diego and Tyler Easter threw a touchdown pass in the win.

Richfield 42, Manti 14

Richfield used a 29-point second quarter to pull away from Manti. Gavin Brown had two passing and two rushing touchdowns in the win.

Lone Peak 24, Orem 7

Orem struggled to find space against a stout Lone Peak defense, only scoring once on the night. Luke Romney provided the highlight of the evening when he connected with Crew McChesney for an 80-yard touchdown early in the first quarter. | Story

Juab 44, Emery 0

Juab cranked out scoring drive after scoring drive, demoralizing the Emery defense. Quarterback Alex Jackson led the way for the Wasps, throwing for three touchdowns.

Maple Mountain 35, Murray 9

Tyler Nelson tossed five touchdown passes — including two each to Thomas Weight and Cole McAllister — to lead the Golden Eagles past Murray in a dominant home win.

Grantsville 39, San Juan 14

The Cowboys went on a 22-0 run in the third quarter to take a big lead and secure the home victory over San Juan. Blake Thomas rushed for three touchdowns to lead Grantsville.

American Leadership 34, Judge Memorial 0

ALA’s defense was stifling as it shut out Judge. Koby Creviston had two rushing touchdowns and led a strong ALA rushing attack.

Providence Hall 21, Layton Christian 12

Providence Hall built a 21-0 halftime lead, which held up in the second half despite a pair of touchdowns from Layton Christian.

Like others this season, Timpanogos couldn’t contain the high-powered offense of Summit Academy. Jaxon Case led the way for Summit Academy, recording four rushing touchdowns.

Salem Hills 43, Highland 10

After a competitive first half, Salem Hills pulled away from Highland. Salem Hills quarterback Jarret Elmer scored four total touchdowns, two rushing and two passing.
