RICH 14, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 7: Rich used a pass from Hunter Pace to Konner Greer and a touchdown scored on a blocked kick by Ryker Conk to pick up the low-scoring victory over Layton Christian. The lone score for the Eagles was a 70-yard run by Rod Richard in the loss.
NORTH SUMMIT 38, GUNNISON VALLEY 16: Walker Woolstenhulme threw three touchdown passes, two to Kale Hobson, as North Summit defeated Gunnison.
DUCHESNE 60, MONTICELLO 6: Duchesne was firing on all cylinders. Cameron Brady threw four touchdown passes, including two to Makovey Jessen, and rushed for a score in the win.
2A SOUTH
MILLARD 21, PAROWAN 14: Jed DeGraffenried ran for two touchdowns as the Eagles picked up the region victory over Parowan.

KANAB 28, NORTH SEVIER 23: Kanab held off North Sevier late for the win. Derek Houston threw two touchdown passes and rushed for another in the victory.

ENTERPRISE 24, MILFORD 14: Bryant Jimenez rushed for a touchdown a caught a reception from Tyler Hiatt for Enterprise as the Wolves defeated the Tigers in region play.

REGION 1
CLEARFIELD 29, NORTHRIDGE 17: Kai Wirth had three rushing touchdowns for the Falcons, including one for 81 yards, as Clearfield picked up the road victory over Northridge.

FREMONT 35, SYRACUSE 24: Cannon Kofford had four touchdown passes in Fremont’s win.
LAYTON 34, WEBER 15: Rocky Wall had a 40-yard interception return and Sione Vailahi had two rushing touchdowns as Layton cruised to the win.
ROY 48, DAVIS 47: Roy and Davis played what could be called a Friday Night Classic, with the Royals coming out ahead on a last-minute score. With 14 seconds remaining, Roy quarterback Parker Kingston found Ethan Ecker for a 20-yard touchdown, after which running back Cade Harris converted the two-point conversion to give the Royals the win. Kingston threw for two touchdowns and rushed for three more to lead the way for Roy, while Davis was led by quarterback Chance Trujillo, who finished with six total touchdowns, four through the air and two on the ground. | Full story

















REGION 2
GRANGER 47, TAYLORSVILLE 3: The Lancers set the tone of the game with an early 75-yard touchdown run from Desmond Fue, and never looked back en route to the comfortable victory over Taylorsville. Fue finished the game with two more rushing scores and teammate Tevita Finau ran for two of his own in the win.
HUNTER 17, WEST 14: Josh Harding threw two touchdown passes and his field goal in the fourth quarter was the difference as Hunter beat West.
KEARNS 38, WEST JORDAN 0: Kearns continued its undefeated season, shutting out West Jordan. Naki Leha had three rushing touchdowns and Iosefa Toia’ivao had two passing touchdowns.

REGION 3
BINGHAM 44, HERRIMAN 10: Saia Lomu led the way for Bingham on the ground, scoring two touchdowns. Carter Shulsen and Troy Mehn also scored rushing touchdowns for the Miners.
EAST 39, COPPER HILLS 0: East’s combination of stout defensive play and powerful running made for an excellent winning formula. Amini Amone led the way with two rushing touchdowns.
RIVERTON 56, JORDAN 6: The Silverwolves scored early and often to pick up the convincing win over Jordan. Quarterback Jaxon Howard threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more in the victory at home.

REGION 4
SKYRIDGE 41, AMERICAN FORK 9: Powered by a strong rushing attack, Skyridge soundly defeated American Fork to open up region play. The Falcons rushed for four touchdowns in the game, three courtesy of Jeter Fenton, the other from quarterback McCae Hillstead, who also threw a touchdown pass to Mitch Adamson, while Stone Mulitalo returned an interception for a score. | Full story

CORNER CANYON 38, PLEASANT GROVE 7: Corner Canyon continued its winning ways with a convincing victory over Pleasant Grove to open up region play. Quarterback Jaxon Dart threw four touchdown passes and rushed for another score to lead the way for the Chargers. Noah Kjar was Dart’s favorite target, hauling in three touchdowns. | Full story

LONE PEAK 33, WESTLAKE 7: Luke Romney and Lone Peak’s passing attack provided plenty of big plays on the night with touchdowns of 90, 96 and 41 yards.

BONNEVILLE 24, BOUNTIFUL 14: Bonneville used an 18-point second quarter to propel it to the win. Bo Dixon and Kamen Best each threw touchdown passes.
BOX ELDER 29, VIEWMONT 14: Thanks to an all-around strong showing by quarterback Parker Buchanan, Box Elder took down Viewmont. Buchanan scored three of the Bees’ four touchdowns, rushing for a pair of scores while also returning an interception 45 yards for another. Braylon Majors also rushed for a touchdown in the Bees’ victory.

FARMINGTON 15, WOODS CROSS 13: Farmington scored just enough in the first half to hold off the Wildcats in the second. Caden Reynolds rushed for a score and Drew Patterson found Mitch Nielsen in the end zone for another to lift the Phoenix to the win.

OLYMPUS 40, HIGHLAND 24: The Titan offense was led by three passing touchdowns from Tommy Hoggan in the victory over Highland.
SKYLINE 63, MURRAY 10: Braxton Bolingbroke had six passing touchdowns to lead the Eagles to the win. Isaac Visser was his favorite target, catching four touchdowns.
REGION 7
ALTA 41, MOUNTAIN RIDGE 26: Ethan Jackson threw two touchdown passes, two to D’Andre Randolph, as the Hawks rolled over Mountain Ridge.

WASATCH 49, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 20: Adarius Edwards had seven passing touchdowns on the night, four of which went to Jarin Kalama, as the Wasps cruised to the victory over Maple Mountain.

SALEM HILLS 41, SPANISH FORK 34: Jarret Elmer led the Salem Hills offense with six passing touchdowns, four of which went to Devon Johnson, in the Region 8 victory over Spanish Fork.

REGION 9
SNOW CANYON 28, DESERT HILLS 21: Powered by a strong rushing performance from Bretton Stone, Snow Canyon eked out the victory over Desert Hills to remain undefeated. Stone rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns and caught the game-winning 32-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Landon Frei with just under two minutes remaining in the game.

CRIMSON CLIFFS 10, HURRICANE 7: In the final quarter, Creed Leonard rushed for a touchdown and Ryan Woolley kicked a field goal to get the Mustangs on the board in a narrow win over Hurricane.

DIXIE 24, CEDAR CITY 19: The Flyers rallied for a 17-point third quarter — sparked by an 87-yard touchdown run by Avery Anderson — to take the lead and secure the victory over Cedar City.

PINE VIEW 67, CANYON VIEW 27: After falling behind early, Pine View rallied to handily defeat Canyon View. Starting midway through the first quarter, the Panthers reeled off 56 unanswered points on their way to a season-best offensive performance. Quarterback Brayden Bunnell threw four touchdown passes, while Dominque Mckenzie had touchdown receptions of 50 and 30 yards and a 95-yard interception return for a touchdown. All told, five different Panthers found the end zone.

OGDEN 21, TOOELE 7: Ogden defeated Tooele in region play.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 49, BEN LOMOND 10: Mountain View scored 35 points in the first quarter to take a big lead and cruise to the victory over Ben Lomond.
PARK CITY 33, STANSBURY 28: With less than 30 seconds left in the game, the Stallions took a one-point lead, but the Miners managed one final scoring play to steal the victory as time expired. | Full story

CEDAR VALLEY 42, UINTAH 13: Thanks to five touchdown passes from quarterback Payton Weber, Cedar Valley took care of business against Uintah. The Aviators outscored the Utes in every quarter and took a 21-7 lead into the half before outscoring them 21-6 in the second half. Weber three touchdowns to Lucas Peck and two to EJ Larsen. Vili Mausia also rushed for a score for Cedar Valley.
REGION 11
GREEN CANYON 10, MOUNTAIN CREST 6: Green Canyon and Mountain Crest battled through a defensive slugfest, with the Wolves coming out on top in the end. Quarterback Jake Lundin and Jacob Regen combined for Green Canyon’s only touchdown of the night, a 23-yard pass in the first quarter. Carson Gerber added a 23-yard field goal for the Wolves.
LOGAN 21, BEAR RIVER 18: Thanks to a strong first half, Logan held off Bear River for the victory. The Grizzlies led 14-3 at the half and 21-10 in the third quarter, just enough of an edge to come away with the win. Quarterback Kody Kirk threw a pair of touchdown passes, both to Jaylen Sargent, while Mason Matthews also rushed for a score.

REGION 12
EMERY 49, GRAND 22: The Spartans started the game with a 95-yard kick return for a touchdown by Jace Curtis and never let up in cruising to the victory over Grand. Curtis also had a rushing touchdown and caught one from Ryker Jensen to help lead Emery to the win.

RICHFIELD 42, CARBON 7: The Wildcats exploded for 28 points in the second quarter to take a big lead and proceeded to the victory over Carbon. Gavin Brown passed for three touchdowns, one of which went to Kasey Giddings, who rushed for another three scores of his own in the win.

SAN JUAN 59, SOUTH SEVIER 6: The Broncos scored and early and often to cruise to the comfortable victory over South Sevier. Jace Palmer rushed for a score and passed for four more while Grover Jensen had two of his own, including a 22-yard interception return.

JUAN DIEGO 58, SOUTH SUMMIT 7: The Soaring Eagle dominated from the outset, outscoring the Wildcats 22-0 in the first quarter and 51-7 in the first half. Dominic Lewis rushed for three touchdowns to lead the way for Juan Diego, while Dallas Larson added two.

MORGAN 56, SUMMIT ACADEMY 10: Morgan wasted little time against Summit Academy and came away with a blowout victory. The Trojans scored 42 of the game’s first 45 points, including 28 in a game-deciding second quarter. Trojans quarterback Ryder Lish finished with four touchdown passes and also ran for a score.

NORTH SANPETE 28, DELTA 21: Landon Bowles tossed four touchdown passes, three of which went to Cole Mickel and one to Brady Jacobsen, as the Hawks defeated the Rabbits.

JUAB 55, UNION 6: Juab scored touchdown after touchdown after touchdown in the first half. Trey Lund provided the highlight play of the night with a 56-yard touchdown run.

TIMPVIEW 58, CYPRUS 6: Timpview jumped on Cyprus early, scoring 46 points in the first half. Micah Becksted led the way with two rushing touchdowns.
BRIGHTON 28, SPRINGVILLE 21: Both teams did all their scoring in the first half and the Bengals walked away with the road victory over Springville. Gabe Curtis rushed for two touchdowns while teammate Owen Powers rushed for another and Collin Edwards had a 90-yard kick return in the win.
PAYSON 37, HILLCREST 7: Payson defeated Hillcrest at home.

LEHI 35, PROVO 21: Thanks in part to a three-touchdown outing by Takeshi Faupula, Lehi shook off a slow start and defeated Provo. Both the Pioneers and Bulldogs went scoreless in the first quarter, after which things opened up a bit. Faupula rushed for two touchdowns and caught another to lead the way for Lehi. Quarterback Creyton Cooper threw for three touchdowns for the Pioneers, finding Faupula, Grady Gonzalez and Josiah Westover.
BEAVER 42, GRANTSVILLE 20: The defending 2A champs looked like a well-oiled machine in this contest. Crayton Hollingshead was the top performer on the night with three total touchdowns.

PROVIDENCE HALL 31, JUDGE MEMORIAL 7: After a close first half, Providence Hall pulled away in the second by shutting Judge out. Jacob Walsh led all scorers with three rushing touchdowns.
COTTONWOOD 40, TIMPANOGOS 27: The battle of the independent schools was taken by the Colts. Joseph Madrigal led the Cottonwood ground game with two rushing touchdowns.
